The front bumper looks similar to the current version

I think some spy shots have already confirmed the solid axle has been spotted. I can't see them moving away from it.

Supposedly the 8 speed is coming, finally. Rumor is the 5.7 will disappear leaving the 6.4 BGE as the only gas engine option. But sadly no 426 either:( Early on I had read the 6.4 would probably get a HP bump along the way but I'd be a bit surprised if it happens next year.

Will this be unveiled at the Detroit auto show 2019?

At least a new trans will help the 6.4 actually live up to its full potential. And after Dodge and the 1500 Rebel TR gets it's time in the sun with a 426 maybe there will be an HD version that comes along. We can hope!

It's all but confirmed the Ford SD has a new 7.0 or 7.3 gasser coming in 2020 to replace the V10 and I have heard it will be an optional upgrade over the 6.2 in the 250/350.

I’d like to drive a 6.4 with an 8spd.

If it's anything like the way the ZF 8 in the SRT 6.4 finds gears and shifts then it'll be a magnificent truck. Sometimes I manually shift my SRT for fun on back roads but seriously you can leave the car in auto 100% of the time and I've NEVER caught the car in the wrong gear or doing something it shouldn't. And it shifts almost as fast as a dual clutch.

Still looks like the 8 speed is coming next year. From the moparinsiders.com site:

We have also told you about the upcoming updates to the Ram Heavy Duty underneath the skin. New ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic transmissions built exclusively for Heavy Duty trucks as well as a new Cummins turbo diesel under the hood that is pushing at the door on 1,000 ft.-lbs of torque.

Looks like I see a column shifter for the 2020 HD’s and an available 12” screen
