The sliders over the bed area have no attachment points.
Thanks again for the pictures. I was always concerned because of the potential difference in movement between the cab and bed. I know new trucks have WAY stiffer frames with less movement than older trucks....pickups from the late-70s could have a couple of inches of difference between the cab and bed when flexed out.
Overall I like the idea of body mounted sliders better than frame mounted. More clearance and you don't have all the leverage from the supports that run all the way in to the frame rails.

I personally am happy with the RE sliders and think they were the best solution for my reqts.

Beautiful Truck!

I only have 3/4” to spare pulling into the parking ramp at work and can’t go long do to my garage space. I have to say I wish I could do the roof rack. I had frame mounted rock rails on my last truck. When its time to replace what I have I’ll build my own.

How are you liking the baja boss mt’s? 315/70’s or 35x12.5’s?

315’s. I’ve run several sets of Mickey’s MTZ’s over the yrs, E rated, 10 ply, super durable. This is my first set of Baja Boss. Basically the same tire with a new more aggressive tread design. Run Michelin’s and Goodyear’s in the past but prefer Mickey’s for all around, snow, ice, rain, mud, offroad, pavement. At 90 they do surprising well for a mud tire.

To be honest, I don't really notice much of a difference. Regearing in my opinion is not necessary.

The 37s are taking a little more trimming than the internet led me to believe. Ive included a few photos of my trimmings so far. I think I have a little more seam weld to remove before any heavy duty off roading. If anyone goes with 37s, I would buy brands that run a little small like BFs and that would cut down on the trimming. The 13.5s instead of 12.5s probably contributed also. My KMC wheels are +18 which seem about right but the Toyo MT 37x13.5x17 are a big tire and have made things a little difficult.PW21.jpgPW22.jpgPW23.jpgPW24.jpg

Yea, a set of wheels with a little less offset (like the aev’s +27) and a 12.5” wide tire would help tremendously in the fitting department.

The offset is ok it is simply the size of the tire itself.

What about with stock rims @ 12.5"
Factory wheels with 35x12.5x17s rub a little on the sway bar causing no real wear or damage. I had that set up for quite awhile. 35s with aftermarket +18 wheels had no rubbing of any kind. I'm trying to sell my factory rims with 35s now.20211115_125046.jpg20211115_125107.jpg

No but I had to trim some plastic and some of the pinch weld. My wheels are 17x9+18. The experts say +18 - +25. The 37x13.5x17 may have caused more trimming than 12.5s.
