My imperfect installation of pelican cases and traction mats on my roof rack. What a pain in the A$$.20220318_160822.jpg20220318_160848.jpg20220318_160902.jpg20220318_160831.jpg

I'm sure I'm going to be a bit bashed on my comment, but I'm guessing you never plan on ever putting anything in the back of your truck like a fridge or a couch or a wheeler? I'm guessing it takes a lot of time to take all of that off so your bed is useable? Having said that I like the rack if you ever needed to store stuff under a covered bed but still haul boards etc.

No your comment is accurate. I've set the truck up a specific way at the expense of other puposes. With the bed cover and bed slide in place, I can fit 6 plastic foot lockers in the bed. Most of the camping gear and tools stay loaded in the truck. The days of automatic car washes and covered parking garages are also over. Not everyone's cup of tea.

Haha. Yeah I can barely squeak in our local one. I really wanted to toss a diamondbak tonneau on mine for it to be multi purpose but I haven’t done so yet.

What did you do for the backup camera? Ive been looking at the rear bumpers with swing outs and still want my camera to work. Just curious if you made it work? I know expedition one has camera relocate but the bumper is another grand.
The factory camera was relocated to the top of the trailer hitch. Works great and still have a 360 degree view also.

I had bought a camera kit on amazon for $39. The camera was not compatible with the truck wiring. The shop moved the ram camera to the bottom of the bumper and used the mounting bracket from the kit. I did not do the work myself.

Your truck looks awesome man!! I love the stock black wheels you are selling. My 2019 I just bought in March has those, I think they look killer, so I just put 35's on mine, and sticking with that set up. But yeah, your rig is bad ass!! My 18 PW had the regular machined face wheels, I like the look of the all black a lot more.

Attaching perforated metal to my bed cover proved to be a great modification. The low bedrack prevented the bed cover from opening anyway. It is now a shelf with plenty of tie downs and holds lots of stuff.
