2021 75th Anniversary PW Ordered

My salesman texted me this morning and said that my truck is on the train in San Antonio, TX enroute to Denver. So, at least it passed into the US!

So, while I was looking for a picture online of what my truck will look like to show a friend, I came across this listing at Planet CJDR in Flagstaff. I pulled up the build sheet for my truck and this one and compared them in an Excel spreadsheet. The ONLY difference between the two trucks is that I ordered mine in monotone, this has two-tone. I thought it was interesting, especially since I didn't want the sunroof.

Hopefully 3 weeks or so! Maybe our build numbers will be close...we will have to see!

4500 has arrived, still waiting on PW update. Total shipping time was only 3 weeks. That’s pretty quick to go though 3 countries. Waiting on the fun truck now

This is one reason I decided to order my truck. The dealers around this area have very few choices. They aren't as wiped out as what you are showing, but you can tell that there isn't the selection that there used to be.

Yep, not a single 2500 or 3500 in Red Deer as of before the weekend. I saw an Anvil Power Wagon being unloaded yesterday so maybe some HDs are starting to dribble in. I’m liking that Anvil still, but not enough to move off my black order. This one is short some options I wanted too.

It's not just Ram. My buddy ordered a Super Duty Tremor in early march and his dealer kept stringing him along saying it would be built soon. They finally let him know last week that due to dealer allocation his truck was now going to built as a 2022 model year. Unfortunately production doesn’t start until June 1 for 2022's so he walked away. This isn't a mom and pop Ford dealer either but a rather prominent dealer for the Ford. Luckily, he found one that was delivered to another dealer about an hours drive away that was very close to what he wanted so he bought it.

This appears to be a dealer who is going "belly up".

That’s the 3rd largest dealer in Canada lol. He owns 50 dealer ships with 2200 employees. I think they will squeak by .

You started this thread way back in November. And since then there has been a lot of people in the thread that have ordered and received their PW. Wow! And yet you are still waiting. You get the top reward for patience in my books! I ordered Feb 4th and have had enough of waiting. Still no D1 status.

My PW made it to the Denver yard yesterday, 6 April. Now, I'm at the mercy of the crew loading it on a truck to move it the last 30 miles to the dealership. According to my salesman, there is no rhyme or reason on how they choose what gets loaded. He says it's often a surprise what shows up and when it does.
