We have all our camping trips planned and booked except for Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

Got a few planned so far and am trying to convince the wife to do 2 more in the fall.

Spring Break at Gulf Shores, AL in April.
Long weekend at Barber Motorsports Park at the end of April.
3 week trip to South Carolina and Virgina over 4th holiday.
Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta

We almost headed camping this weekend. We hoped to go to an empty campground. Went on to reserve and out of 30 sites 23 were reserved. Wow. We are staying home. Thought about getting a cabin. They are all booked.

Gonna be another frustrating year. We would head to the forest....but all the roads are iced over. With more thaw and freeze coming.

Guess it is time to build an off grid setup and stay ready to head to the forest.

I’m in MI, and my wife and I started booking our season 2 weeks ago. We have 5 day trips booked for April, May, June and July. They weren’t too hard to book.

We just finished booking a 2 week trip in New York and New Hampshire, and that took a lot of time. Some of the campgrounds were already full or didn’t have room for our size of trailer.

Cannot wait for camping season.

We have our first trip of the year booked. It's at our usual campground. Weekend of April 29th. It'll be our anniversary camping trip. Our 30th wedding anniversary is the 25th. I can't believe she put up with me for 30 years. And I just realized that the spot we picked is the one in my sig pic.

We're heading to Chincoteague in May, never been there but the better half has always wanted to see the horses. Hopefully it's still early in the season so the insects aren't too bad. I've heard they're pretty brutal in the summer.

53 days til our campground opens (permanent site). Our 5 year old son has been asking every day for the past 2 weeks if we can go camping this weekend. We still have roughly 6 inches of snow on the ground but I'm just as excited to go as he is.

Wow, Man you can have that! My son always talks about wanting to move to Alaska when he's older. I keep telling him I'd bet dollars to donuts he'll have a change of mind when the time comes. PA is as far north as I want to live. Ive lived here my whole life, but I want to move south someday, get away from the cold winters, snow, ice and high taxes of Taxalvania.

Who knows if I ever will though. The mountains of PA are beautiful.

We just got 4 inches...it melted every where but the shade. 6 to 8 tomorrow.

The big issue right now is the frost is out of the ground...so MUD.

Hate ripping up our camping spots with 15000 pounds of combination.

The only thing I dislike about a HeftyDuty...they sink in the soft Earth

That frozen earth to mud is the worst. Dog, my son, and even myself drag in the mud. Try to do yard clean up, tractor digs into it further. Ugh. And now, 69 degrees today, snow tomorrow. I haven't moved far enough south yet. I will know when I have, the locals won't know what snow is.

Meanwhile, finally have first camping coming up in Williamsburg VA. Just a few days for the boy's birthday.

The Rockies are beautiful too but to cold for camping until summer unless you are well prepared and hardy we have to make the best of what we get
