I was surprised the color was available because when I built it on Rams website it did not come up as an available color. I am so glad I asked when I placed the order. I think for this reason you won’t see many regular cab hydro blue trucks on the road.

Check out my 2015 Ram regular cab. Instead of 2/4 drop I went with 2/3 that way it has a little rake to it, which I like better than level. Mine came with 3:21 but had 3:92s installed and what a difference!! Love it. Dropping makes it handle better also.
Congratulations and welcome to the forum.

Sincerely Gooseit

I think I will do the 2/3 drop also. Looks really good on yours. Ground force makes a 2/3 kit with all 4 shocks. What did you use for your 2/3 drop?

I really don't believe that they will stop building Standard cab 4th Gen trucks

Remember 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500 & 5500 series Rams all use the same cabs. 1500s are built in Saltillo Mexico, same as the Heavy Duty Rams
( i would not be surprised if the 1500, had a 2500 frame ?? )

It wouldn't make any sense for Ram to give up a lot of fleet sales by stopping production on regular cab 1500s. There are a lot of them around here.

I guess the point i was trying to make, they use a Standard cab on other model Rams, especially on the 4500 & 5500 models

So they are not going out of their way to just make a Standard Cab for a 1500

RCSB are the only way to go if you want a sporty looking truck, 4 doors just don't cut it.
McGuhey's lowering kit here; drop spindles and flip-kit in back.

I have a 2018 Big Horn standard cab short bed. I would love to buy a 2023 because I love a lot of Big Horn features (especially the power seat). I sure hope they bring them back. Would also love to see the special colors return. Mine is "low-volume bright red". I learned that "low volume" means the factory won't build the truck until they get 10 orders (from any combination of localities). I had to order it with the understanding that it could be a very long wait. It was lucky; it didn't take long.

I wish that they would bring back more color choices

I expect that being as Stellantis is going Electric in 2024

Don't be surprised if Ram & the Classic Dodge cars, all come out with Brilliant Colors for 2023, in sort of a Celebration

Remember, they stopped using the colors that everyone liked, when Japan had a Tsunami, that destroyed the Paint Pigment Plant in 2011

The only other Paint Pigment Plant that could be used on vehicles, was in Germany & they only made enough pigment for European vehicles
