I've been checking back to the RAM factory Website and came across the order page for the 2022 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman. Wow, the prices have really gone up. This one is very close to my 2018 tradesman in features but it's alot more msrp. Many things like the spray in bed liner and the class 4 hitch and even a full sized spare tire are now 'optional'. Check the screen shot pics to see.

Glad to see the old 2009 DS body style is around for another year. This makes me want to baby this truck going forward. Buying a new one isn't likely again.

I love the Classic body style. Been looking at two here locally trying to get the right truck and deal. They are both V6's however, not sure if that will work for me... and super long story on why I haven't been able to test drive a V6 yet.

For giggles I tried to build "my truck" as a 2022 classic and it came out to just over 39k. My window sticker I think was 31500 in 2015. The .gov inflation calculator says 31500 in 2015 is 37k today. But my truck has the 6 speed and 3.55 gears vs the new truck with 8 speed and 3.92 option.

I suppose they have gone up a bit even after accounting for basic inflation.

All the more reason to hang onto what I have :) my other car turns 30 in 22 months then I can register it as a classic
