2022 Ram 1500 Production

Looks like my order actually went through on the 25th of July, although I met with the dealer on the 19th. Also, does anyone know what happens cost wise with the new rearrangement of packages/options? I.e. I ordered a 1500 Limited with the Limited Level 1 package, which did not include the HUD or digital mirror. Now I guess they are moving both into the Limited Level 1 package. Does this mean I now have to pay more? It would be a little upsetting having to pay more for options I did not want in the first place.

I'm not able to reply to your IM for some reason, so I'll respond here. Given your VIN, there are almost 20.5k orders ahead of yours. There have been more than 72k orders placed for 2022 models. Since they just started 2022 production, and at a rate of about 6k trucks per week, it's likely you still have a few weeks before they start building your truck. You do the math. Sorry I can't be more specific.

That's great to hear! I've read posts in other threads and forums that a few people have received similar notification. It has definitely been a long time coming.

That article is talking about last years release of the 2021 TRX, with a Launch Edition being the first 2021 model produced.

I ordered my 22 rebel gt July 17, and it hasn’t even started the build process yet. Ram cares keeps telling me it’s in the scheduling process and as soon as the appropriate parts come then it will start being built. I was told 8-10 weeks and this will be the 12th week. Hoping to get an update soon.

They are having issues getting deliveries everywhere
It all depends on truck drivers

There are likely ship loads off the coast of California with cargo containers full of electronic parts for your Ram & others
They can't unload, not enough truck drivers
It takes a week to unload a cargo ship & there are 70+ ships waiting to be unloaded

There is a website that will track your order, once your are issued a VIN
The site is different from your dealership or RAM CHAT

I ordered a new 2022 Limited with 6'4" box and 4x4. Loaded for towing with 3.92 gears. Most of the options. I checked with the dealer last week and the price quote went up $600. After reviewing the realignment of option packages probably accounts for the price changes. Ordered on August 28. Have a VIN like most, no word on delivery. If I get it by year end. I will be happy. Current 2013 Laramie 4x4 has 260,000 miles. Still running strong but ready for new and updated tech features.

This is a 1500 Laramie crew cab, granite crystal night edition, 5.7 hemi e torque, RAM boxes, and sunroof. Dealer is supposed to check back in about 10 days to see if it has shipped I will report back.

My 1500 Laramie Crew was ordered 07/18/21 and was built and waiting for Transport on 09/29/2021. Since then crickets. Nearly a month waiting on a train?

Recently, I ordered a 2022 Ram 1500 from my local dealer. They told me that a VIN number has been assigned, but couldn't give me a delivery date. They did say that production has to finish for the 2021's before production on the 2022's can start. Does anyone have any info on when production on the 2022's will start? Thanks in advance.

My VON is 50552126. I have just been checking with the dealer every 3-4 weeks. Started in C status for awhile, next check was in D, then the update I just mentioned in D1 that included an estimated ship date. I’ll believe it when I see it!

ordered rebel gt im sure it will be spring for delivery but still on the list at least maybe it will be a 2023 50k trade in value on my 2500 larmie cant resist that at all
