Okay... what are Bilstein 5100s?

Will that effect the front end steerign geometry at all? I know front wheel geometry is far more complex than just camber/caster/toe. Lots of components work together to control kingpin inclination, ackerman, bump steer and probably a bunch of other stuff. I don't want to screw up front end by jacking around with complex engineering.

Beyond getting an alignment, a level/lift of ~2" will have a negligible effect on the steering geometry. Tons of forum members are running the 5100s with no issues, myself included. You'll run into more issues lowering a vehicle vs lifting it with steering angles. Anything more than 2", you'll need UCAs.

I also have a '21 Classic Tradesman 4x4, and have been idly contemplating this question, too. I would think there's a different spring and shock p/n for the Warlock? Wonder if @AllMoparParts.com might be able to figure this out using a VIN from a Warlock and comparing to one from a Tradesman or Express?

es
Benny @AllMoparParts.com and I have been chatting back and forth about this question, and so far have determined that my Tradesman uses the exact same front spring part number (65829042AA on both sides) as two different '21 Warlocks (one with 17" wheels, one with 20") currently listed for sale online. Both Warlocks have the XZN Raised Ride Height Sales Code, where my Tradesman does not.

The front shock part number is different, however (Tradesman = 68040880AH, Warlock = 68040882AE), and the next step is to investigate whether the shock mount to spring perch distance is different (in order to achieve the added 1" in ride height).

EDIT - found this on another forum, purported to be direct from ChryCo Engineering: "It (XZNP) applies to vehicles that require a different mount during the build process when extra clearance is required due to such things as 20" wheels being selected. It is not an option that is selected when ordering the vehicle, rather it is determined to be needed by the options on the vehicle during the build process."

Anyone with a Warlock care to take a measurement and post it here? If you do, please also indicate which wheel and tire option you have (as it came from the factory).

Thx,

es

I just ordered a 2022 Classic Quad cab on Oct. 18. I can't find any definitive time currently for order to delivery time.

2022 Classic production
I have seen 2 dates for production to begin

11/01/2021 & 11/11/2021

You should have already received a VON#, Vehicle Order Number
You should also have a STATUS, ie: B1, C, or D
All 3 of those Status' are just paperwork

After you receive a Status of D1, your production could begin within a week or two, possibly a bit more

Figure 3 months before delivery for 1500 model Rams
Then add 2 more weeks, due to 2 week shut down for the Holidays
Just guessing that they will close the assembly plant from 12/18/2021 - January 3rd 2022

I ordered a Reg cab Short bed back in Sept. With a Google search I found out that the Classic models have a start build date of 11/1/21 for Quad and Crew cabs. 11/8/21 for the Reg Cabs. My salesman told me last week that my truck has a scheduled build date of 11/17/21.

Drag Pack RAM.

Probably already been said, but a RCSB Express 4x2 with 485hp 6.4L/2500 stall/8HP90/3.92:1 LSD with upgraded rear control arms and 2" drop all the way around would be what I would want. Make it available with a base model interrior like a Tradesman but with Express bumpers and the Demon trans brake and line lock. Front wheels can be 20x6 and the rears should be 17x10 with 30" tall factory drag radials. Scrape that goofy antennae mount off the passenger side fender and the satellite antennae wart off the roof. No badging of any kind except for the RAM symbols. Oh yeah, no exhaust tips, just dual 3" turn-downs just in front of a roll pan rear.

Oh yeah, and the paddle shifters setup for instant shifts or rev limiter banging in the burnout box because why not? Find an EPA loophole and get rid of the rev hang! Neutral button for rev blips.

Well there is a 2023 DS Classic! Wow, I never thought it would run this long. It's now tied the square body chevy 73-87. Amazing!

"While the Ram 1500 (DS) may be turning 14 years old this year, it still evokes the classic “big rig” styling of the second and third-generation Ram 1500 pickups before it. A styling characteristic missed by many fans who own the newer fifth-generation Ram 1500 (DT) trucks."

and they got rid of the clutch fan! interesting! factory plug and play fan swaps coming soon Haha

"The HEMI benefits from a new 850-watt electric cooling fan that adapts the fan’s power consumption to the cooling demand. Eliminating the traditional fan in front of the engine helps improve fuel economy by reducing parasitic losses and also reduces noise. "

From the specs published above, there's a new orange-red color called "harvest sunrise". I hope it looks somewhat like the "Sinamon Stick" on Dodge or the old "Copperhead orange", but it doesn't say it's pearlcoat. Walnut brown is no longer available.
It’s a really nice colour, I’ve been enjoying it!
