2022 RAM ground strap location

I'm installing a CB and it's recommended to ground on the strap. Where is it located under the hood?

Not 100% sure but look on the passenger side wheel well/fender near the alternator.

This is connected to the sidewall from battery ground. I assume this is what they mean by attaching to the ground strap...

I also have a light bar in my front bumper & orange rotating lights above the cab
That is why a have 3 red wires & inline fuses near the battery

Cool. Where did you mount your antenna? I found a fender mount off walcott radio and it does the job.

I cringed, but i had a hole drilled in the roof
there is a cross brace just above the Rams B pillars
the hole is just in back of it

I thought about it and I don't have the guts to drill a hole in the roof of mine. However I'm sure you get the best ground plane that way with low SWR.

Professional installers have been doing it for decades with zero issues. I say grab a grinding wheel and get after it.
