What areas of WI do you camp in? We're new to the state and brought the camper so we're looking for areas to visit for weekend trips starting spring.
What area of Wisconsin? They have a ton of nice parks and being from illinois I have visited a few. Devils lake is nice but books way in advance. Kettle Moraine has a ton of nice campgrounds.

SE, we've heard everyone tries to go to Devil's Lake so that tracks with booking in advance. We've started marking spots on a campground app and will check out the Kettle one.

So far have Lake Lanier in Ga scheduled for the end of April, Endless Caverns in Va in June. Still need to plan a few closer places to take some long weekends.

I have a 2 week trip booked for the 1000 islands in NY. I have a large and beautiful waterfront site overlooking the St. Lawrence river. This year is going to be even more exciting because we upgraded our boat. Went from a 17ft to a 20ft with a ski tower. We also have our own property in the finger lakes region we stay at too.

Mid April we plan to head from mid Tennessee to Maine going up along the coast (delmar peninsula) and then come back inland. But may have to change plans. Campgrounds along the shore are already reserved and nothing (descent) available.

Leave Tennessee, in april?
Not a Crappie fisherman, are ya?

That's on my To DO List
Camp, all around Tennessee, during the Crappie Spawn.
Have done Oklahoma, Arkansas & Missouri but got Tennessee, Mississippi & East Texas yet to do.

We have 6, Local Outings, Reserved, so far.
Camp for 2 weeks, then it's Home/Camp, every other week,
until middle of July, when Friends come for a visit, from Germany.
Then, it's whatever they want to do, for 2 weeks they are here.

August is what we are planning, right now.

I'm leaning towards a road trip, Walleye fishing, type of camp but will see.
Told the Boss, we need to get our reservations, now, and can always cancel , if things do not work out, like we hoped.

Bet if I planned a road trip Camp ,with tons of Quilting Retreats or Fabric shopping, she'd be all over it.

For us this year in April we will be in TN at Anchor Down. Never been to this campground but my wife said we should so the reservations were made. Usually we stay right in Pigeon Forge so I'm looking forward to be more away from it all. Anyone that's been, knows what I mean.

Yeah, we've been to Maggie Valley, NC a few times. Made a couple trips up to Pigeon Forge, looked like a tourist trap to me

I am in Northern NJ and the campground I go to all the time is open all year. I am think about making this weekend a 4 day and take the wife camping to get away from the house and kids. I usually start camping in march and go to Nov but with the warm weather this year I think we can get away early this year.
