2023 Ordering Date?

Any word yet on when ordering for the 2023 HD trucks will start? I wanted to order a new truck 2 years ago when I retired but since I only want the 6.4 Hemi in a Big Horn trim, haven't been able to order one. Hopefully they will be available at the start of the ordering year.

I am making a guess here
In past years, they open the Ordering Bank in May
Next Monday is mid May, it would not hurt to begin calling Dodge Dealerships once a week

I would think that ordering would open for the 5th Gen Rams first
Maybe the 4th Gen Ram ordering could happen in late June

I would expect that the 5th Gen Rams would begin showing up in the last week of August, just before the Texas State Fair

When I ordered my 2021 in very late December they called me a on January 2nd and told me it would now be a 2022 model.

My thought is that they will continue building 2022 5th Gen Rams for another 4 to 6 weeks

But they will begin taking orders for the 2023 5th Gen Rams any days now, i am surprised that they have not already started taking orders

What happens if you have ordered but the build has not gone into "D1" status by the change over date? Will the order convert to a 2023 model?

With the 5th Gen Rams, if your Ram has not started being built at the cut off date.
It will be built as a 2023

Classic Rams ( 4th Gen ) for 2022 should continue to be built for a few months yet

As I'm still waiting for my build to be scheduled, does anyone know if that cut-off date has been set and, if so, what date it is?

There is a big difference between
Our dealership, our factory Orders
&
Fleet Orders
Fleet orders are large orders, like when Avis, Enterprise, etc. Rental Cars & when Government Agencies place their multi vehicle orders.
Most of that Fleet orders are fairly Basic
