Do you mean delivery from the dealer to the customer ? or from the plant to the dealer? Can someone explain why the actual delivery takes so long?
Ive got 4.25 for 5 years but if you want to do 7 or 8 thats where I start seeing the 7%. I miss the zero % days4.25% is a really good rate for the current climate. On Reddit people were reporting rates as high as 7% for great credit on new cars.
I was referring to plant to dealer. Im in the Cincinnati area and I believe, but am not 100% sure, that my truck is coming from Michigan. Thanks for the reply.Do you mean delivery from the dealer to the customer ? or from the plant to the dealer?
Dealer to customer there could be a 1-3 day delay depending on their process. Check in of truck, check truck for damage and operability, remove protective film, contact customer, set up financing etc.
Plant to the dealer is mostly shipping logistics - The plant doesn't really want any vehicles hanging around their log, so it's in their best interest to get it out. Usually shipped by rail car. So trains have to be available. Then from nearest rail yard to final destination on trucks. Weather conditions play a major part in the logistic chain. The Trucks come from Michigan or Mexico. If coming from Mexico, there could be a few delays at customs as well.
On the Ram Trucks wiki page, if you scroll down to production, 1500 series are built in MichiganI was referring to plant to dealer. Im in the Cincinnati area and I believe, but am not 100% sure, that my truck is coming from Michigan. Thanks for the reply.
