Found this on another forum- it's either eTorque or Tow package.

I was looking through my build sheet last night and saw alternator delete. So, what charges the battery/batteries if you don't have an alternator. I thought I saw something about a 48v generator. There is just way too much complication with this jeep. Do I have 1 battery or 2 since I have...

Ordered a Ram Rebel on 11/5/22, w/GT package, night edition and pan sunroof. Ordered showed received on 11/7 w/vin number. Dealership told me on day ordered, I will have it by February, NLT March, 2023. So I wait patiently and put more cash aside in meantime for down payment. Certainly will be worth the wait!

Ordered a 2023 ram bighorn 1500 3.6l flame red crew cab, night edition, with premium lighting group, big horn level 2. Added the pano sun roof as well. Ordered it Oct 26th 2022 the dealer told me I should expect it late January to mid February. Currently sitting back ready all these forums and I'm questioning it now, possibly March or April time frame is what I'm thinking now. Has anyone heard if they actually started production of the 23s yet?

2023 PLANNED Production Dates have passed for everything except the 2023 Ram 1500 2 door Standard Cab

It is known that the 2023 Ram New Body Style, ( 5th Generation )
Original Production Start Up Date was November 1, 2022
That date was changed to 7th or 8th, or even the 11th.

? It seems that date has been changed until possibly November 28th, after Thanksgiving ?

Then they close from Xmas to New Years

This is email quoted by my dealer sales manager after questioning 2023 1500 production dates. He spoke with his Stellantis rep yesterday: "Job 1 was pushed to the 9th but because they are having scheduled daily shut down time, he told us the week after Thanksgiving (28th) is now the more realistic date".
I ordered (on 9/13) a 23 Billet Silver Rebel, GT, Night Ed, level II, 392, air susp. tow controller etc. (2018 2500 trade). While shopping around, I was told mid-December HA!

On the original email from Granger, where I ordered from on ~Oct 8, it said expect orders to take 6-9 months. A local dealer said expect a 3 month wait and a friend of mine who ordered a Jeep Rubicon, pre-pandemic, around October and was delivered in March.
All this doesn't stop me from checking the RAM tracker 2-5x a day.

Yes, gotta remain optimistic without letting it eat you alive! I think I've heard it all. One local sales manager told me back first of September I could order in a 2023 in 8-10 weeks! His salesman later told me 10-12 weeks
