@turkeybird56 @mikeru @Dusty @tron67j @BWL @Richard789 @ramffml

My 2018 Tundra SOLD yesterday and i placed a deposit on a RAM 1500 non-etorque Hemi today.
Should have it by next week Tuesday as it is out of state purchase.
I will either fly in to the dealer or do a one-way car rental if my wife and son come along.

EVERYONE was a BIG help in my decision making process - Thank You
Can’t wait to see pics after you get it! Congrats! Sounds like a nice trip to take. :)

What is the name of the Auto Warranty that you recommended?
I use Ziegler, others use Granger. I only have experience with Ziegler, b ut others have reported the pricing Granger even better than Ziegler. Go to site, print out report and info, and U R thinking of getting, see if dealer match?

But IIRC U R getting a used truck. Where are you going to get the truck from?

OP, just an example. Yours being a used vehicle, and U did not purchase new, well you gonna have to do yer research. I just not know details and mileage and all on your truck and what they will offer since you are not original owner. But the below at least get you started and give you an idea.

NO NO, no 3rd Party Dealer BS. National Mopar Warranty Only. This IMHO.

Yes, U can get warranty from MA Chrysler also. So U need to do your research, compare all 3, and see which plans U benefit most from.,

WHERE are you getting the truck from, U never said, cept to make a trip.

Check for cost of Mopar Warranties at Mark Dodge.

They sell them in Canada and the US for what appears to be a great deal.

I had located FIVE non-etorque Hemi's in years 21-22, all under 15k and they all sold in a week.
Good thing i found mind when it just came in to the dealer and i locked it up with a deposit.

I passed on a 22 with under 1,000 miles because it was white - just cannot handle a white truck

Well G/L on all that. If I found a 22 with under 1,000 miles on it, regardless of color I would have jumped, (especially if it was straight VVT, no E-Torque), as white is a preferred color down here, considering how hot it gets. But yer wallet, do what works for U, get what you want, drive, it, enjoy it and maintain it.

It’s funny how important colors are to some people. I mean, I prefer a white truck so I’d have been fine with this one. My least favorite color is silver but if I found a truck that otherwise met my criteria I’d buy it. But if white is a deal breaker for you that’s cool. The deal breaker for me is lack of the Rambox option.

mike, i wish i'd known white was your color as there was(sold now) a 22 non-etorque Hemi with only 3k miles for $39.9k

i was seconds away from leaving a deposit but just could not deal with white

My favorite colors in a truck are dark metallic grey , dark blue, dark green

IMHO, when trying to find a truck that is sought out hard and becoming rare in availability, finding a low mileage truck, the Truck being white in color would be the last thing I would care for (definitely not a deal breaker). U not from Hoboken is U?? lmao.

Wrap a truck, that tickles me. Wash it real good, maybe clay bar, and wax the heck outta it, hee hee. But that is me.

Confirm U still getting yer truck? What color did U end up getting?

As per your advice, the color i ended up with is Silver = not my preference but not white either

My Tundra was Dark Grey Metallic

For anyone who wants to upgrade to a non-etorque Hemi = i found a BEAUTIFUL 22 RAM Dark Grey Metallic with only 9.8k miles

Reason i am passing on it is that the Bed is 5.7 and i need the 6.4 Bed

Post the URL to where that Hemi is, I am sure someone on here will at least look, may be in the market, just saying.

No worries, I'm not in the market for a new truck. Our 2020 Limited only has 19k on it. Still smells new inside

The wife and I each had a new Limited for a while. Mine was white and hers is black. The reason we kept hers and not mine is because mine had etorque and hers doesn't.
