2024 5.7 battery drain

2024 5.7 purchased new in January of this year. Battery voltage drops to 12.3 or lower in 8 to 10 days of not driving. Still starts up...does the e-torque battery assist in starting? And is the battery just weak or is this typical for a 2024 and should I just keep a trickle charger on it?

As I understand the Etorque system, it feeds voltage to the 12 volt battery as needed. You could have a weak 12 volt battery, or an issue with a load on your battery when your engine is off. I would put a trickle charge on your 12 volt battery and see if your voltage improves.

Was at the dealer yesterday....the vehicles in the showroom all had trickle chargers on them .
