So, did lighting upgrade on my new 2024 Warlock. Upgraded the projector headlights with LEDs vs HIDs and then did LED backup lights and license plate lights.

So interesting observations

Truck took all upgrades with having to modify anything with AlfaOBD. I purchased the bypass cable and it's still hanging out in the glove box. No need to reset anything in the bcm.

Second, truck does not have active grill shutters. I found this oddly satisfying as I have removed them on my other rams.

My question, is this a trim level item or something else? Appreciate your thoughts.

It might be something to do with that grill as the Rebel which had the same front end as the Warlock did not have the AGS either.

As for lighting mods not needing any BCM adjustments, that can probably be attributed to aftermarket manufacturers getting better with CANbus compatible accessories.

Interesting they removed the grill shutters but still put in the frame of the shutters. Is there even a plug going to what would be the actuator?

I believe there were more than 1 model that didn't have the AGS, like the super bee and other "performance" specialty models.

When I removed mine, I saw zero down sides of not having them, like potential higher fuel consumption, and my temps went down, so I was pleased with mod.
