let me/us know when it does show up. i looked at them on line, but, can't really tell much other than they are LOADED.
Well, I finally picked up my Tungsten on Friday afternoon and made a quick run to th airport plus a few other spots. I drove it enough to notice a few things.
First I will mention a few dissappointments.
I ordered the Off Road pkg but couldn't actually get it. Stellantis kept deleting the option on the order. No idea why but I wasn't happy.
On a truck that is supposed to be the "S" class of trucks, why is there no night vision, no right hand memory seats and not even a camera washer? I can over look the power tilt and telescopic wheel but these other things should be on a truck of this calibur.
Also the proximity lighting doesn't work even after I made sure they are turned on. Why no door handles that light up like a Jeep?
The bottom half of the door is still cheap functional plastic, positive and negative.
Now for the positive.
I absolutely love the Hurricane High Output but I think it might have more than advertised power. Using a phone app that matched my SRT Jeep performance monitor, we tested the truck today from 0-100KPH(62MPH). We tried it in Sport mode and brake torqued it. Temperature was just above freezing and in 4 wheel auto. The time was 3.43 seconds! I will try this again but it does feel faster than the SRT Jeep. Do these trucks have more than 540hp? Something doesn't quite add up. The engine is smooth and quiet and does rival my V12 Mercedes for NVH. There is noticable turbo lag if you simply punch the throttle. In normal driving it is a non issue for me.
It is too early to tell about fuel economy but highway driving my guess is an improvement of around 3 mpg over the Hemi but you lose that advantage very quickly during spirited driving.
The RAM lighting shining on the ground from the mirrors is very nice. The HUD (head up display) seems to have better definition on the windshield.
The adjustability of the seat is a great improvement. You can extend the lower seat under your legs and the headrest is adjustable for / aft and up / down. Oh and the massage! As mentioned the right hand 24 way power seat should have a memory.
Rear seat recliners have been improved.
I did use the hands free driving and thought it was much better than what I expected after watching other reviews.
I didn't order the split tailgate this time because I wanted the power up on it. I am not dissappointed. No more slamming a tailgate that is out of adjustment.
Finally in the looks department. It is a truck that blends in with other traffic. It is not a stand out truck on the road or in the parking lot. I like that!
The last thing is, I am happy that the Canadian price came down close to $5000 since I ordered mine. I buy fleet so bought at the new lower price!
