20x12 with 37's

Guys I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with 5 inch lift and 2 inch level kit. I'm getting 20x12 -44 offet wheels and wanna know if my 37x12.50x20 tired will fit. Any help would be appreciated

Nope, definitely won't fit on a 1500 with only 7" of lift. If you want 12" wide wheels you'll need smaller tires or if you want 37's you'll need a narrower stance.

I'm running 37's now on a 20x10 -24 offset no rubbing

How bad will they rub?? I have minor trimming or would a body lift do the trick?

You'd have to do a significant amount of trimming; more than you'd want to do as you'd be hacking up your bumper and fender. A body lift would do the trick though to get you the additional clearance you need.

For comparison, I run 22x12's and 37x13.5's on an 8" lift on my 3500 which is equivalent to about 11" of lift on a 1500 and I even had to trim a bit of plastic to avoid rubbing while turning sharp.

Hey bud just to update you. I just mounted my 20x12 moto metal 962's with 37x12.50x20 federals. I have rough country 5 inch lift with 2 inch level kit and there is no rubbing.. I don't know how but they fit and looks awesome.. If I can figure out how to w to load a pic I will

37s should fit on a 6" lift with the right rims.
