My 22 Ram Express headlights are absolutely horrible. I can’t believe Ram thinks they put out enough light. I need to either replace the bulbs or the entire headlights. If I replace the headlight I want to stay with the smoked look. Looking for recommendations for plug and play headlights as well as replacement bulbs for the stock headlights and fog lights. Thanks in advance.5E8CF19F-7716-4364-B51C-C1EC548B43D2.jpeg

Lots of members have changed to headlights manufactured by Alpharex:
The Nova and Luxx series are all LEDs, the Pro series use halogen bulbs.
As for fog lights, DiodeDynamics make a bolt/plug in kit. I went with the SSE3 Pro level SAE Fog lights, probably the best lighting upgrade I've done. The light pattern is wide and kept low like dogs should be. I've drove in near white out conditions and they worked great!

um ...yeah ...they're darkened. Probably cuts 15% of the light down. 15% is a lot when you need more light. My Ram's lights are fine. You could try clear lenses, but then you lose the asthetic. Or are you complaining about the 'dispersement' of the light itself??

You might try checking two things: Check the aim of your headlights in front of a garage door or metal building ..something like that (on the level) ..about 15' back and at various distances? Could be one lens assembly is slightly off, or they're both low. Maybe a slight raise, a few turns of the torx bit could give you better light where you need it w/o affecting other drivers. Also, if they're halogens, is there any evidence that one of the actual bulbs may have become weaker? That can happen. You wouldn't think it on a '22 but worth a good look just in case. There exist brighter halogen bulbs...

[Edit] I agree -- great-looking pickup!! :waytogo:

I did this 3+ yrs ago. Has served me well! Inexpensive and effective. 10w makes a difference! But you should probably get different housings so you can ship me your old black versions since I was so helpful LOL.

My 2018's headlights are actually good, IMHO. I do have clear lenses though. I will say I may be jaded. My 2010 Jeep JKUR has the worst headlights I can remember having so the lights in my truck seem like spotlights.
