I have a 2019 Laramie Crew Cab 4x4 the first owner paid extra for the 22" premium rims. The stock tire size is 285/45r22. I like the rims but they are so big it doesnt leave room for enough tire. I dont like the thin tire profile 'low rider' look. If I go with higher sidewalls I dont want to cause any suspension issues or significant tire rubbing. It looks with the naked eye when I turn the wheel all the way that there is plenty of room in there before any rubbing would happen. I'd like to sell the rims but no one locally is interested.... anyone have these 22-inchers and put on larger tires?

I am not a fan of the super 'lifted' look either but would consider a 2"-4' if I absolutely had to, but also dont want to spend thousands on top of new tires if I can help it too.

I'm interested in this as well. More curious about how easily the speedo can be recalibrated if changes are made to tire height.

Running 305 45r22 on mine. Goodyear Fortera View attachment 224576

Those are slightly better...

what I have is 285/45r22 give a diameter of 32.1" and a sidewall height of 5" and a width of 11.2"
your 305/45r22 give a diameter of 32.8 and a sidewall height of 5.4" and a width of 12"

More concerned with side profile (sidewall height) without losing too much if any width. Your .4" of height with .8" of width is definitely better, but wondering if I can stay the same width for more height....

looking at 285/55r22 give a diameter of 34.3" and a sidewall height of 6.2" and a width of 11/2" ... same width but 2.2" taller meaning 1.1" more on radius for 'rubbing' concerns which I dont think would happen given all the room in there....

or ideally a 295/55r22 give a diameter of 34.8" and a sidewall height of 6.4 and a width of 11.6" which is 2.7" more height than what I have now (1.35" on the radius) with .4" more of width
