Hello all, I am looking to order a summer wheel setup for my 82 W250. Wheels I am looking at are 22 x 12 -44, and I can go with either a 305/40, or 33 x 12.5. The 33's are $400 cheaper, but I am not sure if they will fit. I currently run 285/75 R16, and will keep these as my winter setup. Has anyone run these wheels, with either of those tire sizes, or similar, and did you have to make any changes to get them to fit? I believe I will need to trim the front wheel well, but not sure on anything else. My truck is pictured how it sits, I am not sure if it has a lift or not, I purchased it mostly this way.

Also, the wheels are for a 1995 Ram 2500, but these should be a direct fit for an 82 W250?

TIA

You may need different/fatter/bulge lugnuts if the wheel is meant to fit 9/16" or 5/8" studs.

285/75r16, 255/85r16 and 295/70R17 are the biggest common sizes I've run on my dodges. And wider, or too much backspacing and the tire rubs on the draglink preventing full lock right-hand turns.
