Is a 25ft trailer too large for a 1500 when towing? The GVWR of the trailer is 7000 lbs, 5300 lbs dry weight

Seems to be in the wheelhouse for that truck but be aware of 1500's limited payload.

Smaller trailers generally weigh closer to GVWR so your looking at roughly a 800+ lb tounge.

Add up your passengers and cargo + 800 and see where your at.

Personally think you'll be fine.

Make sure get the WDH set up correctly for the truck/trailer when loaded up, you shouldn't have any issues. One of the trailers I tow is a 32' tip to tail, nothing out of the ordinary just have to turn the corners wide like any other truck towing.

my laramie pulls my 6000# 28' travel trailer fine. just cant put a lot of stuff in the bed...limited cargo capacity but great pulling power. one thing I like is the truck will calculate the trailer length after a turn or two and then monitor the traffic next to you letting you know when it is safe to change lanes.

I stuff everything extra on or in the trailer. Everything is well within specs. 31.5 foot trailer. 2019 1500 Laramie 4X4 hemi 3.92 with nothing in the bed. Weird but tows great!

4th Gen Ram 1500 towing a 25ft bumper bumper Jayco hybrid. With a properly setup WDH it tows great! It takes some trial and error, but once the hitch is properly setup you are golden. Buy a quality hitch too, I bought my first hitch second ;).Btw the truck has a pentastar v6 no Hemi.

Nice looking rig. What is that in the back? Bed Pop-Out?
