Hi Guys,

Just curious whether I can upgrade my brakes by installing 2500/3500 calipers/pads on my 1500. Id like to keep the same rotors then I dont have to switch to 8 bolt everything. Cant seem to find any info on this. Also its a 2010 1500 SLT if that matters at all

Thanks!

I would personally go with a good set of pads or do like I did and go with something like power stop. I am running my stock calipers and it will stop on a dime.

Power stop or Wagner oex are the two most popular pads on ram forum. I prefer wagner oex, low dusting good grabbing. Night and day differentce.

As for your question, have you just considered a big brake conversion? They have many brands just for that larger brakes that fit 1500's.

Is there a model/part for the Wagner oex you mentioned?
