Just curious, what kind of gain(s) do you feel you've gotten with the tune? Are these drivability gains, ie, being able to get higher throttle gains without the constant transmission kickdown or just WoT gains? I'm looking for the drivability gains only as towing heavy a good deal of the time. Have regeared from 3.73 to 4.56 but am still stock on exhaust and intake. I really don't appear to be lacking on stock due to the fact that I don't need or want the wot or high rpm for my usage. Considerably better after gearing but being able to get a slightly higher throttle before a downshift would be an improvement for me. Thanks.

I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on the 6.4 tuning. You will have better driveability w/o a doubt. The part throttle driving will be a good bit better.

Have there been changes between the 2014 and 15 6.4's and or the computer programs for engine and trans?

the "encryption key" is different which is the opening access to the pcm itself.

So, in other words, the 14 can't be programed to reflect the changes in programming they do to 15 year? Think, considering that 14 was the first year putting the redesigned 6.4 into a truck and also matching it to a different trans, that we, who purchased "first year run" vehicles should be able to take advantage of the changes that they know work. I'm sure that all the sensors, engine and trans are exactly the same. Just changed computer program for better all around performance. Just My thoughts

If any tuning updates come out from Mopar, the dealership can flash the computer. What he is saying is for the aftermarket tuners to be able to program the computers they need to figure out the new encryption code that Mopar likes to change every year. I was in the same boat a few years back when I bought my 2012 ram 1500. No tuning was available. Short time later they bullydog and diablo figured it out and released a tuner.
