installing a 2.5" spacer & what I'm looking for is what shocks I should be looking for since you might as well do them while you're there, and track bar suggestions. just read through tons of threads trying to find what people suggest, and finding a bunch of people suggesting bilstiens, but I feel like I remember reading that those are for half tons.

They make them for more than just half tons, my dad has them on his 05 3500. and yes they are what you should use imo

From all my research and asking around here for my 1500, you need either a track bar bracket or new adjustable trackbar if you are going beyond a 3" lift.

From all I've found is that the stock one will just pull the axle sighting to the drivers side because it is a little short for a truck with a lift

Yeah I have no need to go beyond 2 1/2, but when I was reading around on here they were suggesting to get one still. Do you know anything about the brackets? I spent 30 minutes reading and couldn't find anyone suggesting anything in particular

Some bracket attention on the wheel side of the track bar and some attach between the frame of the truck and the trackbar(basicslly an extension). Thats atleast what I've found...

However I've only found one for 2-3" lifts and it's like $30 and it attaches to the wheel side of the track bar... but I've also ready that to prevent the death wobble the track bar and linkage bar of the pitman arm mist be at the same angle so with that thinking you woukd also need a new dropman arm the same drop as your track arm bracket...

Anyone say yes or no to this statement?

I've also ran into the trouble of trying to find a 2-3" drop pitman arm. The ones I've found are for 4"+ drop(for 4"+ lift). I'm thinking they don't make that small of a drop pitman arm because it is not needed....?

Can anyone conform this?

From what I was reading is when you hit 3" is when you would need the Pitman arm, but I could be wrong there since I was kinda skimming through everything. I know there's a few guys here that know for sure on that, including merc

Im not entirely sure if a pitman arm is made for a 3" loft tho... the ones I keep finding are for 4" + lifts

Skyjacker part number DA302 is a 3-5" lift pitman arm for your truck i believe.
