Hey guys, can you please measure the actual height of your DuraTrac 's on stock 20x9 rims? I'm only asking because my stock Goodyear Wranglers measure 32" tall and a 275/60R20 should be 33".

Looking for actual mounted dimensions on stock rims for:

Goodyear DuraTrac's:

275/65r20=???
(should be 34")

280/60r20=???
(should be 33.5")

Thanks!

Cool thanks.. Which ones do you have and how do you like them? I have been on the fence now for a couple weeks about the DuraTracs & BFG KO2's.

that sounds correct. not many tires are 100% true to their mathematical size once they are mounted on the vehicle, actually i dont know of any but maybe somebody else does? its pretty safe to say they will physically measure about 1/2" to 1" shorter then what they calculate to be.

Not sure.. The NITTOS on my wifes H3 Hummer are spot on for height. I was curious if the 275/60's were a tad short because of the factory rim width of 9? The rim specs on the GY site for a 275 is 7.5-9.5' (8.5" being the median) Being a little wider rim, seems like the OD would be a little shorter. Maybe the height would be closer to 33" if the rim was 8 or 8.5" wide. So I assume if I got 275/65's, they will measure 33" and not 34". A 285 tire on the other hand is spec'd for a rim width of 8.0-10.0 (9.0" being the median). I wonder if a 285/60 would measure closer to the 33.5" specified height because of the rim width? Thanks for the info.

I've got a set of 305's with Fuel Mavericks for the summer then the 275's on the stock wheels for the snow. One of the best snow traction tires I've had. Quite and ride smooth IMO. I don't know if it's the wheels or the 305's, but they seem to get a flat spot if my truck sits for a week or 2 and then vibrates just a little bit untill I get 30-50 miles on them. If I use the truck with the 305's regularly no flat spot.

Here's the measurements I got with my 275/65R20 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx's. At 44 psi they are right at 33.5" tall. Their website specs say they are 34.17" tall by 11.1" wide.
