turning at 55mph in 8th gear? Thinking about changing gears but not sure if it will throw a code. Or if you have swapped them out did you have any issues with codes.

I think that my eco-diesel with 3.55 turns 2200 at 70 MPH

Most times i don't look at the gauges, i just keep up with the traffic

I had 3.55 gears on my 2013 v6. Just purchased 2022 with 3.55 v6. I like this combination.

Not sure about your question. I let truck pick. It pulls 55 in 8th on level driving. RPM somewhere around 1500. More Than a Slight pedal push drops it to 7th. It appears to run 78 mph at 2000 rpm. It does hold lower gearing longer on hills. Seems to like 2500 - 3000 rpm range while climbing hills.

Nobody runs 3:55 gears with the v6 ?

I may have read your question wrong. I find the 3.55 gears to work pretty well if not heavy trailering.. I have only trailered once. 5x10 covered uhaul loaded. 1000 mile trip thru KY, Ark, and TX. Had no problems with KY hills. Kept in tow/haul thru the steeper ones. Only gas mileage suffered as expected.
My uneducated guess:
I would think that 3.21 would hurt acceration and possibly cause more downshift on freeways to maintain speed.
The 3.92 would probably be a thrill if you want quicker acceleration or want to pull a trailer. It just means higher rpm's at cruise and lower mpg (?) .
I haven't run across any posts on codes from change-up. Seems like it would affect speedo . Maybe someone else knows what else it may affect.

I want to know if it will throw codes by swapping them . Can the dealer ship recalibrate the speedo?

With the OEM 20"s wheels(33") @ 55 mph the RPMs us about 1350, it will be closer to 1400 if you have 17"s
The speed on the EVIC is derived from the ABS wheel sensors, changing the gear ratio won't effect the speedometer.

Your RPMs is closer to 1800, it's possible your tach needle is off, use the Torque app to read the RPMs directly from the ECM

You can find a chart/calculator for that - you need gears, tire size and speed.

On my post, I had "estimated" my tach rpms at 55 to be 1500. I have 17" wheels. Just confirms your math.

Are you running 17" or 20" wheels? Does it kill the mpg?

When I was buying in June 2019, I specifically asked my dealer to find me one with the V6 and 3.55 gears, and he did, in the color (Delmonico Red) that I wanted. I LOVE my truck!
