Which size would look better on a 17x9 rim? I am putting bils on at 2.8 and 1.5 spacer in rear. Maybe a 1.5 body lift also if need be. Is there anyone out there running either size tire? The tires I am going to order are either duractracs or mickey thompson mtz p3.

All depends on what look you are going for. If you want more wheel gap go with the 295s. If you do lots of driving in rainy/snowy conditions generally the narrower tire will perform better. I had 315s on my old ram with a 2 inch level and 1.25 body lift. I currently have 295s with a 2.1 level and 1.5 body lift. Wanted to keep my fuel mielage as best as possible. 315s are around 34.5 x 12.5 and the 295s are 33.5 x 12. Also here in Canada I paid just about the same for the 295s as I would for 35s, for being a more uncommon tire size and the coopers were more expensive than my previous bfgs. Although I could fit 35s I prefer my 295s, less weight, better mileage, and better rain/snow traction.

Nitto terra grapplers 295/70r17. I like them. A good medium between size vs. Performance, especially with 3.21 gears. Bilsteins at 2.75" in the front and 1.5" spacers rear.

No, there is no rubbing, lots of clearance. I had them mounted on stock rims for a couple of days before I traded them back in on my aftermarket rims (Deal I made when I bought my truck) No level or lift.

Aftermarket rims, still no level or lift.

Are tow hooks possible with that 1.5" body lift?

No they will not fit directly back on. I removed mine and sold them. There are people who have modified them by cutting them but there is no way they hold the same strength, so I will not be doing that. However you could fab a set to fit if you have a welder. For me I wont be using any, as most times you get stuck you will be pulled out from the back, however they would come in handy for pulling someone else out.

I have a 2014 tradesman running the EXACT same set up as you (assuming those are 33’s) on the stock 17x7 rims. Love the look of it. You couldn’t curb these rims if you tried

Your picture didn't work. I'm very curious to see it too.

They equate to 35's actually. But ironically mine is also a 14. I now have true 35x12.5x17 MT's on my truck.

Edit: Picture works now. I used to have a light bar right there too.
