If you live near or in the area of Rockingham NC there will be a Mopar car show and drag racing at the Rockingham Dragway on April 15th and 16th. It's a 1/4 mile drag strip. There are vendors and food. If you're into Mopars this is a great show to go to.

Is it a NHRA event i would love to be there there is an event in Pennsylvania later in the year my state has nothing!!
It's a Mopar car show and they let anyone that wants to run race in a trophy class up to King of Street. Even some jet cars if you're into that. Just Google 31st annual Mopars at the Rock to see the official flyer. I have a blast getting to race with street cars in the 1/4 mile. I don't care for 1/8 mile racing, if you do good in that it's usually hauled on a trailer, I like street car racing!
I'll definitely be there, maybe I'll see you there. I'll be in the red truck in my avatar. In the show and racing.

Tomorrow is Rockingham. Good chance of rain but I'm keeping the faith. I've worked very hard for the past 2 weekends preparing for this!

I clayed it, I compounded it, I polished it, and I did the Ultimate wax on it. I'll take more pictures when I get it outside in the morning. Anyone that has done all this knows the work involved!
Oh yes, i know all about spending hours on end making the Ram look good. In the end though, it is all worth every sore muscle. I see you are just as meticulous as I am with keeping the Ram gleaming and sassy. Nice work 2012RAM1500RT.

Great day at Rockingham Dragway in NC today. The weather was about to change my mind but I went anyway and I'm so glad I did. Got to meet one of our members @Joe w. Very nice to meet you Joe, seem like a very down to earth great guy. For those of you that don't believe in pedal controllers I was running 14.1 second 1/4 miles last year and the only thing I changed this year was I added a Roar Pedal controller and I was able to get down to 13.8 second 1/4's. Argue all you want, I have the proff I needed.

I came in 2nd place in best of show in 2000 and up truck class. I was in the final 2 in the trophy class race but the last race I won (ET's) was against a 2019 Dodge Demon. When I came back around for the final run he came up to me and said they put the wrong dial-in on the clock for him and said they would only let us race again if I agreed to it. I agreed so they let us have a re- run and my dumb self red lighted which let him win automatically. I was going to be the winner or either runner up. Both trophy's we're nice. I got nothing! As much fun as I had I told my wife, this is probably the first time you'll see a loser with this big of a smile! LOL, what a great time and show it was!
