First of all, KO2’s are amazing if you don’t mind dropping $1,200 every 20k miles. Anyway those were 33’s on factory wheels, I’ve got 6 months to shop for deal and it’s time for 35’s with wheels.

I’ve got a basic Fox 2.0 setup with upgraded UCA’s under a 2013 Outdoorsman. I want 35’s (17x12.5 wheels) and full articulation with no rubbing or squeaking.

Ive had my KO2s for 66k and they got another 15 left easy. You rotate them or??? As far as I know they are only ATs... unless you are talking MTs then I cant speak to that.

Curious on that as well...I know tires like super swampers will only last around 20k but my last set of kO2's lasted a little over 50k, on 1 rotation (front to rear, guess why?) and plenty of burnouts/power slides.

Changing my tactics now with my current falken wildpeaks, also have a crew cab now vs the regular cab I had back then, so not being nearly as hard on them as the regular cab was much more fun to do that stuff in.

I’m in the auto business, everything gets done on my stuff correctly. Tread ware is perfect and so is alignment... 19k miles and they’re below 30%. And yes they’re E’s.

I do live in Colorado and they get at least monthly fire road use at relatively high speed.

So for 35 X12.50’s you’re gonna want the Maxtrac 4.5” lift ... 17 x 9 or 17 x 10 wheels with 0 offset min ... -12 or -18 would look better imo ... Good luck ... Post pics

Sounds like you got some duds or something then, they should definitely last a lot longer than that even without proper maintenance. I heard some grumblings about the KO2's last time I was going to purchase tires, specifically tread life. That's why I opted to try the falkens out this time, hope you have better luck on your next set.

What did you inflate them to?

About 35psi... if you’ve ever lived in Colorado you’d understand, I may start a ballot measure to abolish TPMS sensors in this state. A recent afternoon drive went from 6k’ to 4k’ up to 10k’ and back to 6k’ with a 60° temperature swing. That said I’ve worked at a dealership for almost 17 years, again perfect wear on the tires and alignment and rotation gets done more often than necessary.

I've had Cooper AT2 and AT3 for my last two sets of tires. The AT2 set lasted about 140,000km/87,000mi and I'm at 6/32" on this set after 90,000km/56,000mi so I'm expecting similar out of them. Rotated every 2nd oil change, kept at 45psi religiously. Towing my travel trailer in summer and lots of gravel/forestry roads.
I'd be severely disappointed if I only got that sort of life out of tires.

I live in Colorado, driving 120 miles a day, ranging anywhere from 5000 to 7000 feet in elevation, and have zero complaints with the KO2s. 30,000 miles on them with 40psi, rotation every 8000. Still 11/32” on each tire.

I'm not doubting you, I just am shopping for new ones... was thiking of going with 295s over the stock size this time and now after reading your post I am second guessing it.

I think it all depends on where you live and how you use your vehicle. When it snows we sand and gravel our roads, that can’t help tire life. Also KO2’s do not have a tread ware warranty.

I just went with the 35x12.5R18 KO2’s on my ram after putting over 60k on my last set of 33 inch KO2’s which still had some good life in them I just wanted to upgrade before moving to Montana. I grew up in Colorado and for an all terrain tire the KO2’s is hands down one of the best when it comes to snow and ice traction. I had the Toyo at2’s and they were so bad with wet road traction and not great in the snow. They lasted over 50k though. Just my experience
