Good afternoon,

I am new to the forum and have some questions. I want to level my 2019 Ram 1500 classic. I would like to keep stock rims and put 35 x 12.5 x 20 tires on. If I level the truck, will 35inch tires fit or will I need to go with a bigger lift.

Thanks for any help

35's will fit but not at 12.5 wide. unless you run wheel spacers

I have a Bilstein 2.8 on my sport 2012.
On my sport rims I was able to fit 35x12.5r20’s with no rubbing on the control arms. My tires are Firestone’s MT2. If you have sport rims, they are a an inch wider than standard rims.

I don't have sport rims. I have a classic with the 20 rim options. Previous truck had sport rims, this one doesn't.

Do you reckon 1.5 spacers would work?

Firestones are a rather slim 12.5 with the tread width of 9.8 when mounted on a 10" wide wheel. @chrism1981 1.5" Bora wheel spacer. If you dont want to grind the studs down go with a 1 3/4" spacer. There are a lot of variations in the metric size tires so the specs is what you want to be looking at. Those Firestones mentioned above are 34.8" tall which are closer to true height than most. a lot of 35's measure 33ish but they taper down to less than 10" wide which will generally clear most control arms. I wouldnt focus on fitting a certain size I would focus on how you want the wheel to look. Are you going for a stuffed look? There are a ton of 35" tires out there but it might say 285/65 instead

OP, You opened up a thread in the wrong section of the forum. You have a 2019 classic so it's 4th gen 1500 truck not 5th gen. The topic comes up literally daily. You should start here: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/guide-to-leveling-wheel-and-tire-sizing-for-06-4wd-ram-1500s.70918/

Can you fit 35's on a leveled front 4th gen truck ? yes, but you may need to to work out the gotchas. factory wheels backspace is a little narrow for some tires, also comes the issue on how to lift the truck and would the truck be a mall crawler or actually see offroad action? There are different setups you can run to maximize your driving habits/looks from cheap to not so cheap to damn that's expensive :)
that link above gives you all the details you need to make an informed decision.

They should. Most tire installers can do a test fit for you. That’s what they did for me. It all depends on the actual width of the tire.

also keep in mind if you have the 20x8s a lot of places will not mount 12.5s on an 8 inch rim as it exceeds the +/- 4" rule. I know for a fact Discount Tire won't.

I have a 2018 Ram 4x4 crew cab. For the last year I’ve been running 35x12.5 on my stock wheels and have never rubbed at all. We did a leveling kit up front and that’s it.

The new '21 Bighorns come with a stock 20x9 rim, I have 35x12.5 20 Nittos on stock rim and no rub with full turn.... happily surprised! We just went from a 2" level to a 3.5 lift and 1.4" spacer. Mostly for the appearance.... it needed it! Pics will follow.

I had 35 x 11.50 Nitto Grappler G2s on my 4th Gen 2015 with no lift and no issues.
