Can I fit 37x13.50r17 mud grapplers on my 2002 dodge ram 1500 with just a level and spacers?

While i'm no expert here, I currently have 35's on my 19' 1500 with the stock UCA's, and my tires are dang close to rubbing on the UCA's (using the stock 20"x8" black aluminum rims).

I suspect one would need wheel spacers at a minimum to ensure one isn't rubbing if you're going to use the size of tire you're proposing.

Caveat: I also have 5100's all around with the fronts raised to the 2.1" position, too. So you may also need to raise things up front to ensure you don't rub things in the wrong places ;)

Well i also ask because my 17s are 17x8 and ik the sidewall is really going to poke out on 17x8 and i dont want to rub and blow them and my fender to shreds

You'll likely have to raise the front up some, and consider wheel spacers to thwart possibilities of rubbing on fenders and/or UCA's as well.

If you're going to use spacers, ensure you have top quality product only, and torque to spec, and then recheck at regular intervals as well.

Spacers will keep you from rubbing the UCA but will increase fender rubbing when turning.

I had to do some fender work to get my 35s to fit without spacers, 37s with spacers I would expect to either cut the fenders or lift.

From what I have seen you are going to need at least a 5" lift to clear 37's on a 1500. Wheel offset will also come into play.

With that said, if your signature is correct and you have the 3.6l engine, I would seriously re-think your tire choice. That thing is going to struggle bad. I don't even think I would go 35's with that engine

.

Its a 3.7l and ive ran 35s before but went to 33 because it was cheaper but it turned the 35s okay because its a small motor manual geared for torque
