if the bolt pattern is the same, then you just have to figure out back spacing/ offset. make sure it clears your calipers and your hub.

The offset is different between the factory wheels but the bolt pattern is the same. I have both a Ramcharger (88 TBI D100) and a 3rd gen (2002 QC/SB 4.7/5spd) but I've never even tried interchanging wheels

The RC has a 0 offset I believe, while the 3rd gens have 1" positive offset. I have 8" wide 15" steel wheels with 0 offset (so 4" backspacing between mounting flange and inner bead) on my 2wd Ramcharger and it cleared all suspension/braking components. I'm not a fan of wheel spacers.

The offset difference without the spacer will increase the tire scrub radius which might increase your steering effort and the truck's natural return-to-center in steering.
