I knew originally I should've done whatever performance parts I wanted on my motor but money was an issue then and I couldn't do everything I wanted. Now I know for next time to do everything when rebuilding.

Yes you can use thinner gasket to raise compression but it is usually less than .5 of a ratio point so not worth it in itself but if your pulling heads anyway why not?

I don't know what heads you have on your motor, but just me I would not be putting too much time or money into them if they are stock org heads or just a rebuilt head. If you say have the thicker cast head then go nuts and have fun. Try searching the web for the Mopar porting patterns for the Magnum heads, I had them at one time but long gone.

I have a set of Odessa Clearwater stock heads( newer casting). Reusing the old head bolts shouldn't be an issue right tho?

Its always good practice to replace head bolts but yours are not torque to yield so its not required.
I would have replaced them but your probably ok

At the time I thought they'd be fine but now I'm thinking maybe not so much lol. Yeah TTY I woulda replaced.
