Taken awhile to update been a crazy few weeks doing an engine swap on a friends car after work, all the valves look to be stock. Dont have the funds to get a shift correction yet. Specially because I figured out I drilled my drain hole at exactly the wrong spot (hits the steel tube on the valvebody) so I will be needing to get a new drain pan I think. Is the derale worth it it? Noticeably cooler temps? Would it be unrecomended to get a used like new one? Are they prone to warping? Any help is appreciated.

been awhile since i posted on here at this point the truck runs and drives seemingly normally.

I wanted to thank everyone again for the help/tips/advice through the rebuild.
also to those looking at maybe rebuilding their transmission themselves, it was really quite easy and straight forward.

Total Parts Cost:
46 re rebuild kit through Cascade Transmissions (https://www.cascadetransmissionparts.com/): 280$
hard parts (also through cascade, did have to email price request as not all parts were listed on the site): approximately: 80$
TCC/OD Solenoid and pressure sensor (cascade): 140$
ace hardware (fasteners etc.): 40$
fluids: 80$
Transmission cooler/hoses/fittings: 175$
Torque converter (went with oem style https://www.autozone.com/powertrain...w-hamp-transmission-torque-converter/761982_0 ): 140$
Automatic Transmission Drain Plug (i ended up drilling the pan in an incorrect spot so i placed the plug through and welded the hex side of the plug bolt to the pan) : 20$

Grand total: 955$
(just realized how much i spent total did not seem that much as i was going)

I used a lot of advice cruising through this site and also from a member on another forum who is sadly no longer with us but his thread helped immensely.
https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/46re-tutorial-911009/

for the teardown/rebuild i largely relied on this Youtube channel for fitment/steps:
he gives a great tutorial on these with an easy to follow step by step process (sometimes a little too detailed imho but nonetheless walked me through it)

**most of the clearance and torque specs he used seemed to coincide with the ATSG manual, but there were a few that did not so i used the ATSG manual specs**

again i appreciate all the help i was given and i would definitely do it again. (hopefully not for many more thousand miles)
