you do realize those have the plastic covers, dont you? they are hard to remove, and underneath they are just painted flat silver.

that same wheel is available in polished aluminum, without those FUNKY plastic covers...

agreed. i see way too many of the boys running around with the rockstar rims, or crager knock offs. i'd rather have an oem wheel that looks nice and modern. plus with the 20, i can upgrade to a 35x12.5 for it in the future

Ya its kinda funny how nowadays you have to run an OEM wheel just to be different lol.

I will say though be prepared for a massive price tag to go with those 35x12.5's on the 20's I just bought 285/60/20 (roughly 33.5x11.5) goddyear duratracs for my 06 ram and cost me about $2300 by the time they were installed.

All the OEM 20's are aluminum. If they look like chrome (which I think the ad you posted was) they just have the plastic covers over the aluminum. Cant really tell by looking at them though so that has never bothered me to much. The plastic covers on mine have started flaking a bit but they used to be run in the crappy salt filled canadian winters and are a 10 year old rim now.

If I can I will try to post a pic of my Ram with 20s on it. I have the 2006-2008 body style 5 spoke 20s. My only complaint with them is you can really tell how much the rear is shorter in width than the front with them. I have ran 275/60 and 295/50... by far I had a better ride and feel with the 275/60. Right now I am rockin both sizes waiting on a check to clear so I can throw on some new Mastercraft A/T's. Also I havent had any clearance issues at all with either tire.

Side note.... the rear is 1.5 inches shorter in width than the front axle. So if you want to even it out you need a 3/4 spacer on each wheel
