Well I drew up a plate bracket that would space bumper out 1/2 in and 1 in up, but didn't get a chance to get it cut before I sold truck. Sorry bud

Ive asked some people about that bumper nd some of them say that it hook on with the factory brackets from the 3rd gen but you just gotta get it right like this one

What if you use the 4th gen 1500 chrome bumper and put the 3rd gen upper painted plastic bit on that new style bumper? The 3rd gen has those U shaped things to accommodate the headlamps. Then you will not have those ugly gaps.

I've seen this a couple times. I'm REAL tempted to go find my a 4G bumper (with fog light holes). I've already got a painted cap (which is a must, or some darn good metal work)

I have not. I've been fighting with mechanical issues. I saw yet another 3G (Yellow Rumble Bee) with a 4G 2500 PTM and it was downright nice lookin.
