Hahaha I will put money on it I can get you from a dig and a roll. You have no chance with me right now...without a stall and headers I have at least a 1/2 a sec on you. Thats a video before the JBA shorties, a 2/4 drop, and much lighter 22" set-up (7-8lbs lighter). Your running in the high 14s and my buddies Titan is running mid 14's and I'm able to put 2-3 truck lengths on him 0-90. 3.92 vs 4.10s isn't gonna be much of a difference so I'm not worried your gear upgrade....should have got a stall instead of gears if you want that off the line performance.

Like I said if I'm available when you go back rprw I wouldn't mind running up there with you but my days are numbered as far as doing mods to this truck. This tuner delay pretty much go me really not interested in my truck anymore. I plan to just pay this truck off (use it as my DD) and start dumping cash in a project car here in the next six months.

I thought in the 2011's 2nd prime was only an auto downshift gear for passing/better accelleration. Pretty sure the 2012's have the 2nd prime that is used all the time.

On pre 2012, most of the time yes. But while manual shifting you can use 2nd prime(shows up as 3 on the gauge cluster)

2012s don't have a second prime? When using manual mode that is correct...... It is just 3rd. That is how it is a 6 speed. How we can use all forward gears? I need to head out there and do some more testing. I might be doing something wrong.

I did two runs manually shifting, and two runs allowing it to shift itself. They were all with in time of each other. It hits 80 and I revv out and have to shift.

It's still 2nd prime. Only thing that changed is the valvebody and programming. Don't get sucked into the whole 6 gear thing. It still has the same weak clutch packs so the using it as an all the time thing will most likely result in transmissions going even sooner, bad move on Chrysler's part. With 4.10 you should hit 1st, 2nd, 2nd prime, and maybe 3rd. That's it with the 4.10 and 33" tires. I'll ask a few 09-10 R/T guys since R/T didn't get 22s till 2011.

Edit: Just asked the guy with the 13.7 record and he said he hit 3rd right before the traps

Okay, so if I have this correctly. Get up to the box. (I do a decent burn out, but here at RPRW you can be kicked out for being a tool and burning street tires too long LOL) Put the truck into Manual "3", Launch, and when the truck hits 5200-5300 RPM shift to "4th"? at the 1000 foot mark? Does that mean 5200-5300 rpm after I feel the truck go through the first 3 gears? Or before it shifts itself into 2nd I hit it up once into "4" manually? Sorry. I am just making sure I got this correct. xD I am guessing sticking it into 3 tells the gears "Hey" Don't go past 3, but shift in the best points leading up to that?

No. So when you go up to the line put it in 2 and once it shifts into 2nd then shift all the way back into drive so the transmission will control all the shifts from then. Your truck should be shifting at around 5600 rpm

Those must be some damn good conditions huh? :p

I might be... Read my above post and tell me what you think ^

Yeah it was close to 0 DA for the record runs. We can get that in Texas a few times a year

Not bad at all! For its first run, get a better RT with more miles on the motor and you could probably do 14.5 easily stock with that truck :p

you do know that the rt has nothing to do with the final time right?

yeah, i ordered my BBK's a while back from Moe's, just waiting for them to ship. Once they get here, I'll get the headers, efan, 180 stat and catch can installed all at once. then if i have a little change left over, i'll want to get a y-pipe and raceland cutout.

regarding your tails, you might want to save your stock tails for inspection purposes.... i hear they won't pass you with tinted tails here in Texas

How stock? Like drive from the dealership to the track and plug in a tuner? Or tuner, intake, and exhaust?

But I wanna say like 13.2 or 13.3 but that was from a regular cab slt that ran 13.6 bone stock. So take 3-4 tenths a second off for a tune.

There's a kid in louisiana with a 2011 sport crew cab that run 14.6 or 14.7 with just a muffler swap(so if he would've tuned his truck before he swapped with his dad for a 2009 or 2010 challenger srt8) he probably would've ran a 14.2-14.4ish

How do you think I should be running in my truck with everything I have,

Vararam is coming in tomorrow from moe's, and I have my sonnax LPB installed today. :)?

So all the same mods as the 14.9 run except vararam instead of k&n and adding a sonnax line booster?

What day and time was the 14.9 run on? And royal purple raceway?

Two weeks ago on friday, the 14.9 wasn't done correctly as I was shifting pretty ********ly. It was at 8:45 give or take 20 minutes.

So DA was around 1139 that night which corrects to a 14.7@94 in 0 DA. If you get another run in similar DA with the vararam, sonnax, and better shifting you should be around 14.7-14.8. Add a tune and I'm sure you'll be around 14.3 with similar DA

Now remember that DA can effect your time like crazy(around half a second with 3000 DA) which is why corrected times are better for comparing time lost from mods. So corrected I think around 14.5-14.6 with new mods and 14.0-14.1 with tuner

Possibly. Once he gets a tune I think he'll have you though cause you have heavier tires
