I have a 2013 ram 1500 2 wheel drive. with the 5.7 hemi. I think it has VVT. It idles fine. But when under a load it has a bad miss, until it levels out then again runs fine. It is sending a code that #4 cyl. is misfiring. I have changed the coil, plugs, and injector. Is this a prob. with the VVT? Or the Valves?

You may be in the process of dropping a lifter. Have it checked sooner than later and you might be able to save the cam.

<<< See this blue 2010 Ram in my profile? It has the Hemi with MDS. 3 Jan it threw a P-code 0301, #1 cylinder misfire. Did everything you did; swapped coils, plugs, and injectors hoping for the best. No fix. Truck was still under warranty, took it to the dealer who recommended engine replacement. Warranty would only cover cam and valvetrain replacement. So, that is all I had accomplished. 3 weeks ago, a month after I got it back, I went out to start it and it started making that telltale clicking noise. I said "screw this, I've seen this movie before" and traded it in on the 2018 Power Wagon I have now. 4 days later the dealer called and told me the truck started throwing code 0304, for the #4 cylinder misfire. Not sure what happened the second time, but I dodged a bullet, for sure.
