5.7 muffler

fairly new to forum . i Have a 2021 warlock crew cab 5.7 and want to swap muffler with a direct swap out either a 18” B2 fabrication or mbrp muffler. Want a little louder than stock not crazy neighbors r close and don’t wanna b too loud thx.

Yeah it will lol ... but "I" love it haha!

I always see people at least around here saying the same thing as him then they get the progressive and wish they had gotten the competitor instead ... regardless these trucks sound awesome with either one of them ... I don't like the sound of Borla, Gibson or any of the other ones out there ...

I have a Solo Mach 40 bolt on I got from @Nick@GotExhaust and I think its pretty much what you're looking for. Its louder than stock but not obnoxious to the point where your neighbors get upset.

If you want loud the Caven Progressive is Loud and only keeps getting louder as the packing wears out.

A Magnaflow would be I would suggest, something like a 18”.

I have had mine for almost 2 years and it hasn't gotten louder at all, might of been the case with older Carvens but not this one ...

Yeah mine got a lot louder over the last 5yrs. Still sounded great though

Oh after 5 years I have no doubt it gets louder , but I love that loud sound too lol

I think the Mach 40 muffler kit is exactly what you will want. Deep tone that is louder than stock but still mild enough to be neighbor friendly. It is fully bolt on, so it is a very easy install! Let me know if you have any questions about it or any other options

I had a Solo exhaust on my 2015 mustang and it was fantastic. It was a modular design, and I had 2 different mufflers with it. One extremely loud, and one loud but not obnoxious. Never heard a solo on a ram.


Where are you located? I have a Mufflex 18” sitting in my garage that I’ve been thinking about getting rid of. I took it off probably 2 years ago and I keep having to move it to get to things. I’m in the houston area and I’ll happily let it go for cheap to help fun my mustang project

I'd put a set of 5" tips on the stock exhaust first before any muffler swapping.
Might be enough & it'll look better too.

They give a deeper exhaust note, not necessarily louder but meaner.

My Ram Minotaur is running a magnaflow with custom side exit exhausts and it sounds awesome especially with a cold start! Been on the truck straight from the factory. Get a lot of compliments on how good it sounds and so far zero complaints.

I have been thinking about doing the custom side exit exhausts myself ... how much did you pay for yours?
