that vin doesnt appear right?

But 6.7 was introduced midway through 2007. Best bet would be look at the data plate on the side of the block near the fuel pump

also in the vin, i believe the 8th position will be c for 5.9 and a for 6.7

C = 5.9L I6 CYL Turbo Diesel High Output (ETH)

A = 6.7L I6 CYL Cummins Turbo Diesel (ETJ)

A quick search says that 53040317AM is the ECM part number for a 5.9L Cummins, but you may want to verify.

Those valve lash specs on that label are for a 6.7, but I'd still look for some other way to verify.

5.9 is .010/.020
6.7 is .010/.026

.

Any chance you can get the VIN of the truck itself?

IIRC Jan 2007 is when the changed over from 5.9 to 6.7, I recall hearing of a few Jan 2007 trucks with the 5.9, they used up the 5.9 they had on hand before going to the new 6.7, also if it has a factory EB its a 6.7

They should be group 65 batteries, and i "think" the lowest CCA offered in the economy line of batteries is a 650CCA. That's a bit low on a Cummins. I'd look for at least 750 CCA, but if you can go bigger, definitely consider it.

Just installed a couple of new batteries in my 06. 850CCA each. NOT cheap about $475 for the pair and only 3 year warranty, but I think that is about all you can get now days.

OP, if you post the VIN we can put this to bed quickly.....
or at the very least take a pic of the engine bay.... Should be fairly easy to determine at least by that. The 5.9 and the 6.7 aren't identical and a 6.7 should say 6.7 on the valve cover.

Shell Rotella T4 15W-40. It's the only oil I've ever ran in a <2018 Cummins (or a Powerstroke for that matter).

I always run either genuine Mopar or Fleetguard oil filter & fuel filters. Both made by Cummins as well.
