My 2011 Big Horn needs new wheels. It's 5 Lugs, 20 inch. The 5th gen Classics are also 5 Lug, 20 inches. Are they compatible? or is it a sensor issue?

The rims are compatible but the tire pressure sensors are different. If your getting new tires, have new sensors installed at the same time.

Technically they aren't called 5th gen Classics, they're called Ram 1500 Classics. The only thing they have in common with 5th gens is model year.

Right now, i can't recall what Mhz my 2009 had for TPMS, so i Googled it

433 mhz

2009 - 2010 Dodge Ram TPMS Sensor Schrader 56029359AB 433 mhz.

2011 - 2013 Dodge RAM 1500/2500/3500 TPMS Sensor Schrader 56029398AA 433MHz

You will find some 2011 Dodge Rams with 315 Mhz

i believe that many 3rd Generation Dodge Rams have the 315 MHZ TPMS

TPMS Sensor, 433MHz Tire Pressure Monitor System for 2014-2021 Dodge RAM/Jeep Cherokee Replaces# 68249197AA.

==========================

By the way, Many Rams with Keyless Entry, also work on 433 Mhz

I buy and sell 4th gen wheels. There IS a difference in RAM wheels some crack way easier than others. Most Gen 4 wheels I have seen no problems with other than when they have hit a big pothole or curb. However the thinner spoke Dodge wheels and RAM Sport wheels are the ones I have been seeing them crack. The bigger spoke wheels I rarely see unless as stated above. I only sell 20s so I know little to nothing about 17s rims.
