55W digital ballast.....

hey guys im in the process of install in jj heads and fogs. just wondering where you guys install your ballast for your fogs?

Note: 2012 sport

any pointers would be great.

I mounted mine behind / under the headlights, right next to where I mounted the headlight ballast. There is a support underneath the lights, and I just used tek screws to hold them down. They seem to stay nice & dry up there. I wish I had a picture for you, but I don't.

I only have the 35W fogs, so they are smaller, but I just 3M taped them to the bottom of the housing. Worked flawlessly. It was quite a PITA to remove them when I thought I was going to sell the truck. This is where they will be remounted to, whenever I get around to it.

I have a thread posted where I mounted them. They tuck onto the frame rail perfectly and the wire Harness has a nice straight shot to the bulbs.

there is a lip where the tow hooks go. Thats where mine are. zip tied to that.

thanks JJ. Man what a PITA to find locations for mounting everything. to make it look like factory.

i just self tapped mine to the side of where the tow hooks install and then used heavy duty zip ties for reinforcement.

yeas i did. look sweet but i need to do some major adjusting. body line along with light adjustment.

So the second one is the fog cutoff?

Cant recall if mine does that....but there is no way to really adjust the fogs as we do with the heads....but maybe Jeremy can chime in here

From what i see in the pic too, you need to raise the drivers side fog up a few.....just look at the arches in the bottom of that pic. They dont line up or are not the same height.
