DISCLAIMER: I am not a coder, developer, software guru, electrical engineer, etc. but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express once!
With that said, all vehicle/electrical mods are at your own risk. Now have fun!

First I want to thank @Jimmy07 , @djcwardog, @Projekt, @JINXR , Todd V and many others for their initial work which I will quote/reference below when possible:
Also Ref: 5th Gen Foglights on a Tradesman (2500)?

** Please note, this will only cover the Electrical bits and Sales Code/AlfaOBD programming. If you need the actual lighting hardware, brackets, bumper, etc., I will reference what I can but you will have to identify that for your truck unless someone wants to summarize the 1500/2500 hardware **

" Adding the fogs to a 5th Gen 2019 2500/3500HD or 5th Gen 1500 DT is different than the previous years...

All 2019 trucks already have the correct bumper - just need to remove the solid bezels and install the fog bezels, brackets, and lights... You still need the correct headlight switch, and a way to enable them."

The jumper harness is no longer plugged into a connector that comes from the front end connector under the fuse box. It’s now plugged into a connector by the driver side wheel well that carries the front park assist and fog light circuits (mpg edit: usually not there & factory 1500's use a completely different brand AND pin qty connector than 2500/3500) ... From there, the fog light wires go straight to the BCM, and the park assist wires go straight to the park assist module.
I’m not sure if that connector would always be there to plug the jumper harness into. I would guess that if the truck has the rear park assist feature, it should be there.

Mpg2 EDIT: The connector is usually not there and the wiring back to the BCM is missing.

** If anyone wants to share/verify any of the various lighting hardware below, please do so **

------------------------------------------

There are (4) different styles of fog lights:
(2019+ 1500 DT PN's are likely different PNs than 2500)

- round Fogs
- round Fogs w/ParkSense in the fog light bezels.

- Horizontal LEDs
- Horizontal LEDs w/ParkSense in the fog light bezels.

.
Also note, if you are running factory or aftermarket LED foglights with either the 5th gen 1500 or 2500 Bumper harness, you will likely need to switch the pins (polarity) at the bulb connector (per Mopar's own LED upgrade kit directions and wiring diagrams!). Here's some detailed videos...

** Finally, you need fasteners for securing the fog light bracket and also the fog lights into that bracket. I didn’t order or get those so I used hardware I had. Now that I know that these parts don’t come with that hardware, I’d want to order it too, but I am not going to open things back up just to have it now! Also, those trim bezels require small hands and a 7mm socket wrench to just loosen up some t-clamp fasteners along their perimeter - from the inside reaching up. You can’t see some of the locations and I think there were 5 or 6 of these per side. So, I loosened up what I could find and then ripped them out. Trash anyway and I could reuse the existing hardware to (more carefully) install the new bezels."

Small update, those special 2500 connectors have been found and I have OEM correct extension harnesses available now to complete the install.

I made a BCM connector pin install video for the foglight connector locations to help everyone out in the meantime.

------------------------------------

Here’s the Video links so far….
(Big thanks to @Projekt for the install videos)

See DJwardog's install pictures starting at post 47.

PART 1 VIDEO - 2019+ Ram 2500/3500 fog light wiring (M2 Mods Harness Install/Routing)

>> 1a - For the install, disconnect the battery(s), remove the driver side wheel and Wheel well liner to allow access to everything... you will need it.

>> 1b - Start with the 'Jumper' harness in the bumper between the 2 foglights. Get it routed & clipped into the factory mounting locations. Make sure the light connectors actually reach the fogs... Routing may be easier with the foglight assy/buckets removed.

>> 1c - Connect the Foglight BCM Extension harness and route it up the fender/frame towards the PDC (Fuse box) without securing it yet. Attach the ground ring at the forward ground post near the PDC, and route the rest of the harness behind and across the upper portion of the fender area (inside it) towards the firewall. There should be an existing wire harness bundle/routing tray for you to follow & zip tie to once done. Pop back/turn back into the engine bay area near the hinge and route the harness down the firewall to the transmission cable/boot on firewall below the Brake cylinder.

>> 1d - Pop out the transmission cable boot enough to make a hole or notch to pass the harness though into the cab (be careful of the existing cable). Pop the rubber boot back into place and seal it up with RTV, etc.

>> 1e - Route the 2 remaining wires in the cab out of the way towards the upper 2, outer BCM connectors (C1/A and C4/D).

PART 2 VIDEO - Adding fog lights to a 2019+ Ram 2500/3500 Tradesman or Big Horn (BCM Connector terminal Install)

>>> REF: M2 MODS - Working with BCM connectors to add Foglights, etc

>>> 2a - Remove the Headlight switch assy from the dash. Leave it out for now.

>>> 2b - Remove the 2 BCM connectors (C1/A and C4/D) and pop the terminal housings out of their shrouds.

>>> 2c - Install the Wht/Yel wire (Left Fog Lt) into C1/A pin 1. Replace the connector shroud and reinstall the connector into the BCM... Make sure it lined up and is fully engaged/locked into place.

>>> 2d - Install the Wht/Org wire (Rt Fog Lt) into C4/D pin 13. Replace the connector shroud and reinstall the connector into the BCM... Make sure it lined up and is fully engaged/locked into place.

>>> 2e - Install the new Headlight/foglight switch assy.

>>> 2f - Go back through and zip tie/secure everything in place. Double check everything as you go (Did you ground the ring terminal? ).

PART 3 VIDEO - Enable features (fog lights) using Alfa OBD on Ram 1500/2500/3500 (AlfaOBD Programming)

>>> 3a - Have dealer enable foglight sales code:
-> (LNJ) for Halogen Fogs
-> (LNV) for LED Fogs

---> or use AlfaOBD or similar to turn on the setting in the BCM (see POST 10 for details)

BCM TERMINAL INSTALL TIPS

In case anyone else tries to add a wire to C1 and C4

A few tips...

Do C1 first, and unplug the two square plugs to the right of it. Then there is a push pin you can pull out. This lets you pull the connector down to work on it a little easier.

Tuck them away when you start C4. You gotta do C4 completely one handed. I tried having my wife put her small hand and arm through the heatlight switch opening, but she could barely reach it and could only hold it in a position that made it impossible to stab the wire in.

After you get the cover off of C4 with a small screwdriver, stick the connector back into the BCM. Just be careful and don't bend any pins. This trick holds the connector while you jab the wire into it. Then pull the connector out, slide the cover back on with one hand.

Those covers have two sets of slides so it'll let you put it in wrong, but it won't fully seat. If it doesn't seat in easily, pull it back off and make sure you have it in the right slides. It should snap back into place very easy.

Having someone hold a light through the headlight switch opening helped a lot.

------------------------------------

Just to help people visualize what you had to do, since I just got done swapping in a BCM for a project I’m doing,
here’s the C1 connector, and how to take it apart to add or remove wires. You’ll pry up here, and slide the wires and terminal block out of the latching hood shell-

mfmzOOM.jpg QbC6LHq.jpg Tb7lOhS.jpg

Then, you just insert a wire with terminal in the appropriate position, or to remove a wire, you depress the tab shown, and pull the wire straight out-

UjHm4KR.jpg

-------------------------

" If that connector is not there, then you’ll have to run your own wires for the right and left fog lamp signals straight to the BCM, and pin them into the right spots on the connectors. The two fog light ground wires just get grounded to metal. The BCM is up behind the dash above the brake pedal. Here’s the layout for it looking at it mounted to the firewall "

Post 10.

---- Dealer SALES CODE/ALFAOBD notes ----

You can have the dealer activate the Foglight Sales code ...
-> (LNJ) for Halogen Fogs

-> (LNV) for LED Fogs
(extra setting with AlfaOBD)

... or use an appropriate scan/code tool such as AlfaOBD/OBDLink MX BT Adapter and OBD Port Security Bypass Harness to enable the feature directly in the BCM yourself.

For configuring and adding the sales code with AlfaOBD you need...

- AlphaOBD - 98% use Android version... PC version available.
- OBDLink MX or MX+ BT Adapter
- KaodTech Security bypass cable (Deereguy) or Similar

** DeereGuy (M2 MODS/KaodTech): In case anyone with a 2018+ RAM would like to make changes to their truck, we have a security bypass harness that will let alfaOBD and other tools work with the 2018s & up. SEE HERE.

--------------------------------------

Reference:
** AlfaOBD
(for activating factory features yourself. See docs linked in OP)

------------------------------------

WARNING:
If you have the AlfaOBD tool, and want to try this (vs dealer activation), please read the AlfaOBD thread OP and enable data logging before you start.
None of the people that have used it for activating the fogslights on their own have had a problem, but proceed at your own risk!

AGAIN: Do this at your own risk. I am not responsible for anything that may happen to your truck as a result of performing these steps.
.

To Enable Foglights:
>> Connect to your model year BCM (Select the appropriate MY19-21 or similar powerNet as appropritate your truck... for now)...

- Select >> "Car Configuration Change"

CBC Config I/O >>
Connector A PIN 01 and Connector D PIN 13: Front Fog Lamps Output Present = YES

>> You may also need the following setting if it's not already enabled <<

2014 CBC Config I/O & Features >>
Fog Lamp Switch/Analog Spare Input #6 Present - Pin G2 = YES

.

** For LED Fogs only w/above setting **
(LNV sales code, from my 19 laramie 1500 DT)

>> CBC FEATURES >> LED Front Fog Lamps Present = YES

.

38c63882233c573c38e8017cfdbec118.jpg

.

Fogs ON with high beams:
>> Select ... "Front Fog Lamp Dropout Enable" = select NO

* This is actually the "Ecu Config 02 - CBC Features" section.

FYI, I have also made a video on disabling fog dropout... For the visual learners [emoji23]

I remember thinking "wish my 18 2500 Tradesman had the fog light holes precut in my bumper like the new ones." But FCA giveth (light cutouts), and taketh (ease of install) away. But I will say that adding the lights in probably the 2nd best mod I did, after adding running boards so my wife can get in. Highly recommend to anyone reading this, and you can't go wrong with M² Mods harnesses. Good luck

If anyone comes across the vin of a 1500 DT with LED fogs WITHOUT ParkSense... Let me know so I can add it... Not sure it and the Bezels exist outside of the LED upgrade kit.

Here are handy tips for installing the new bezels and securing the cross wiring. The outer bolts on each side are difficult to deal with. I used silicone to glue-in the T-bolts on those. The outer bolts are the only ones you can glue in place. Just place the outer bolts in the bumper slots and swing into position. Those of you that have installed your bezels know exactly what I'm discussing, those of you that haven't installed them yet will catch on quickly. The cross wiring (in loom) can be held in place using 3/8" single leg conduit straps along the top of the lower grill using existing hardware.

I would like to thank all those who started this thread... but specifically Mpgrimm2 for putting the thread into a solid end to end instructions (with others input).

I read through everything first and then completed fairly easy. Even though i did this over several days (only had a few min here and there to work on it). Overall it took me about 2 1/2 hrs., but i took my time. Hardest part is the BCM connections.

Any ideas when the harness will be available to the general public?

It's basically off the ground now for the 2500's. Haven't had anyone with a 1500 yet to do a proper install test.
Right now my biggest issue is getting the bumper harness from mopar for the 2500's to modify (backordered with no ETA), but I have 10 of the correct oem 16 pin connectors coming in that if they are correct, will make this much easier so I only have to build the BCM extension harness and people can source the bumper harness directly.

First I want to thank @Jimmy07 , @djcwardog, @Projekt, @JINXR , Todd V and many others for their initial work which I will quote/reference below when possible:
Also Ref: 5th Gen Foglights on a Tradesman (2500)?
