I like the look of the meaty tires on those Laramie wheels, I have the same on mine but im thinking about going w some 20x12s w G2 or 420s. I don't have to contend with snow. Looks great though.
We get a pretty good mixture of weather here, but I travel a lot through the northeast and see it all. They're the same tire I use with my '17 2500 diesel. They're noisier on the 1500, most likely because the truck is overall quieter with the gas motor and running a lot less tire pressure might influence the noise.
On both trucks, I didn't want to go wider. One, I prefer the look and 2nd, I'm in lose soil enough that I prefer it throw it into the wheel well than down the side of the truck. The 296/65 will fit on the stock wheel without spacers, but you won't have much room against the upper control arm.
