5th Gen 8.4 UAV Radio in a 4th Gen (And Possible Surround View)

Waiting on new mirrors .
Hopefully in the next two weeks will Have them .
Front cam installed into existing eBay grill .
Was a bit of work but it works
I was able to get the front cam calibrated as well so that’s a good sign .

 

A bit more progress .
Still waiting on last mirror to come in .
The front view shows the parking sensors as well .
Had to add another can module to convert a message .
Thanks for helping me with that Roman .
Will keep pushing to get this working .

 

Well....I got questions.....

As you can see (by my most recent Avatar image) I have a very similar grill though my RAM lights up What housing and camera did you use?

and What module did you need to add?

 

That is the exact same grill I have .
Mine lit up just like yours did etc .
I will send you the parts that I used to make the front cam fit this weekend .
There are many different parts as different front grills etc .
The parts I will list are for a 2021 rebel .
Had to make a few shims out of abs plastic to make it fit then JB weld .
Also was a fair bit of cutting in back side of the grill to allow access to the camera .
It’s not just mount and screw etc .
Just like this whole mod lol .
As far as the can module goes this is still work in progress and requires more can logging to ge the rest figured out hopefully .
I have had a lot of help from Roman on this so he deserves a lot of credit on Helping me out on the can bus side of messages and spoofing .

 

Ya @Roman217 is the Best! did you see his Printed Head Unit Mounts? they look OEM, thanks for the heads up on the parts.
