oh its going to take some time bud......

I'm not personally working on it, as its not what I do - its over at Diode Dynamics now for the fun stuff. No ETA, we'll have to get prototypes in, tested on the bench, on my truck, then go through endurance testing, etc before any of it sees the market.

Damn and we all thought the 4th gen was a pain! LOL

I didn't think the 4th Gens where bad.....especially when you've done it 50 times or so.......my 4th Gens went through a few sets of lights lol.

But yeah, this one certainly takes more time - next time I'll have it down, but......until then........LOL.........

I’m battling the front fascia right now. It won’t budge lol.

Still struggling with the fascia. I had to take a break lol.

Looks like there are two locking tabs on the bracket in the fender that retains the clips on the fascia. The yellow arrow points to the tabs in the direction the clips on the fascia are inserted. I need to find a way to release these tabs so I can back out the clips on the fascia.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Man...what a chore to get to the headlights. Mopar is really making it easy to mod these vehicles.

So they can sell you replacements for parts that break while trying to disassemble them LOL

Sigh, I don’t even have the fancy lights, just the normal projectors, and I don’t think I can even access the low beams without doing half this sh*t you went through to pull the lights completely.

The passenger side is behind some aluminum A/C piping that doesn't move even when you release it and pull the airbox, and the drivers side is behind a big bundle of wires with no play to it. I guess I’ll see how much the dealer wants to charge me to swap them in at my first oil change.

All I want is non-yellow headlights.. :( Highs are super easy! Lows... not so much.

Look for “Headlight Revolution 2019 RAM 1500”. They have videos with shortcuts to swap bulbs.
