Throw a cam at least in with, then have your tuner rescale for them. Otherwise no, "full bolt on" does not require that much extra fuel. I assume you mean a CAI (nope), catback exhaust (nope), what fuel is a built tranny gonna need, kid? Hog out the heads, bigger valves, more cam, displacement increase, boost, these require more fuel and would thrive on them. There is a reason these weren't put on the earlier 5.7's; 6.1's had more head, more cam and more displacement, eagle 5.7 has more head (very similar to 6.1, superior in some aspects) and more cam. I'm gonna ask this, please don't get insulted like everyone does. What is your actual level of mechanical expertise, especially as it pertains to modern electronically controlled fuel injected vehicles?
I'm hard to offend don't worry, on a fuel injected car I'm a relitive newbee I've been building carb cars forever this is my first injected build.and yeah I know the tranny doesn't need any more fuel it's just I'm used to writting that when I say my mods. I forgot to mention I do have forged pistons and rods but yeah no extra fuel needed. I know none of my mods specifically need more fuel but I was wondering if dodge just under equiped the ram fuel delivery wise.
Oh ok yeah won't need em for a little bit then at least til I finally get the next part of my plans for my truck thanks so muchNo, they matched them pretty well to the setup with room for improvements. There have been 12sec 3rd gen trucks running around using those injectors.
