I'm been contemplating a gasser, but not much to choose from on lots. Thoughts on towing with 6.4 Hemi with 3.73s and leveled on 35s? I feel like the 4.10s would be a better fit, but none out in my area.
35's would lower the gear ratio down to a 3.57.
35's on 4.10 would lower that to a 3.92

How much you plan on towing?
If your looking at +'19 model year truck with the 8spd, the lower first gear helps out but I'd probably not opt to upsize the tires to 35"s.

I have a 2019 6.4 with the 3.73. It tows our 5th wheel fine. It isn't amazing, but for a gas it does the job good enough for me. I am on stock tires though. I am also looking at bigger tires once the Firestone's wear out. If I were you I would try to get the 4.10 if going with bigger tires.

My time has come!

I have a 21 2500 Hemi 3.73gear short bed leveled on 35s and 18s. I only tow 5k lbs though. The wheels and tires dont make too much of a difference from what I’ve seen but again only 5k lbs. My mpg dropped about 1-1.5 in general but it’s worth it. I still have plenty of power and I’m actually surprised I still feel most of the power it had stock.

The 2” level sits perfectly level but if I had any more weight than this it would start squatting the back hard.

If you’re going to be towing a lot and still doing 35s, it would be worth it to find a 4.10. But… if you can’t, you can still get by with the 3.73 and 35s.

I'm pulling my 5w that's 11k gross and we cross the scales loaded at about 18,400 for the truck and 5w. I'm running 285/75/17 (about 33.8") and have no issues towing. For reference, I have towed only between Maine and North Carolina with this setup. I purposely didn't go to 35's because I don't want the extra weight, 1" extra width, and 1" extra height, even though many 35's are 34.5" tall. Oh yeah, they're also about $50- $100 more per tire, so I couldn't justify it. If I played in the mud or sand and needed / wanted flotation I might consider it, but I'm primarily on pavement and campsites so practicality won out.

I found one spec'd out almost perfect one state away, but its the 3.73s. Would you consider getting it re-geared? I know people do it with the diesels all the time, but I haven't heard of it with the Hemi's.

Lot of money for a re-gear.

I would hold out for one that had 4.10's from the factory. After having a 2020 with 4.10's and 35's no way I would want 3.73's if I were running 35's. for the record I switch back and forth and as I have OEM tires and wheels and 35 toyos on AEV wheels so it is easy switching back and forth and there is a difference even with 4.10's in giddy up. strangely enough no real difference in mpg.

The way finding trucks is these days, i would just settle for the 3.73’s if i had to. Then, run it with 35’s and see what you think. If it is not performing like you want, then pony up the cash and regear it.

More importantly is weight.. 35s have huge variations in weight.
My OEM wheel is about 38# and OEM tire is about 58#.
So long as what you end up with close to OEM weights, going up to 35 shouldn't pose much of an issue.
